Borima JSC is one of the leading companies in the field of mechanical engineering and metalworking in Bulgaria, with over 30 years of experience and an established reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality machines, parts and equipment for industrial and agricultural applications. The company operates in its own production complex in the village of Borima, Lovech district and is among the main employers in the region. The company applies a systematic approach to modernization, energy efficiency and sustainable development, consistently investing in technological innovation, digitalization and improvement of the working environment. Within the framework of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", Borima AD is applying for financing for two complementary assets aimed at comprehensive optimization of energy consumption and sustainable production: - Local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with an inverter, which will be integrated into the already built photovoltaic power plant (PPP) with a capacity of 120 kW. The batteries will allow the accumulation and use of the energy produced but not utilized in real time, ensuring a higher degree of independence and energy balance. - A second, new Photovoltaic Power Plant (PPP) with a capacity of 50 kW, including solar panels, an inverter and batteries, mounted on the roof structure of an administrative building with a sloping tiled roof. The system will be built with a roof mounting structure, oriented to ensure optimal absorption of solar radiation. The electricity produced will be used entirely for own needs - to power the main production facilities, air conditioning and lighting systems, as well as for the new equipment provided for under the innovation project. The project has a total value of 291,018.10 leva excluding VAT and will be implemented for a period of 12 months.
