Description

The project of "Prometal 2000" EOOD envisages the installation of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 55 kWp, intended for own consumption, in order to increase the energy independence and sustainability of the company's production base.
The main objective of the project is to reduce energy consumption from the external electricity distribution network, optimize production costs and reduce the carbon footprint of the enterprise, in accordance with the principles of the European Green Deal and national priorities for energy transformation.
The company's production activity is associated with constant and high electricity consumption, especially when operating metal processing machines. The average monthly consumption is significant, with electricity costs forming a significant share of operating costs. With the construction of the PVPP, the company will be able to cover up to 55% of its own energy needs, reducing its dependence on fluctuations in the electricity market and improving its financial sustainability.
The system is expected to generate approximately 50,000 kWh of electricity per year, which will lead to a reduction in carbon emissions by about 45–50 tons of CO₂ per year. As a result, annual electricity costs will be reduced by nearly 50%, which will allow the company to direct the freed financial resources to renew equipment and expand production.
The project includes the supply and installation of photovoltaic panels, an inverter system, a roof-mounted structure and a production monitoring and control system. The installation will be fully compliant with current technical and environmental standards, ensuring safe operation and long-term effect.
The implementation of the project will ensure the economic, energy and environmental sustainability of Prometal 2000, increase the competitiveness of the enterprise and position it as an innovative and responsible company implementing green solutions in industrial production.
