Description

The project of “Team Holiday” Ltd. aims to improve energy efficiency in the tourist facilities managed by the company – Hotel and Tavern “Molerite” and Hotel “Bulgaria”, both located in Bansko. The facilities operate all year round, providing accommodation, dining, and recreation services to local and international guests in one of Bulgaria’s most popular mountain resorts.

The main objective of the project is to reduce energy costs and increase the energy efficiency of the heating and cooling systems by replacing the existing heat pumps with new, high-performance models of a higher energy class.

The current heat pump installations are outdated and have reduced efficiency, resulting in high energy consumption and operational costs. By introducing modern high-efficiency heat pumps with a high coefficient of performance (COP), the company will achieve significant energy savings and a lower carbon footprint across both facilities.

The project will lead to:

Improved energy efficiency and reliability of the heating and cooling systems;

Reduced electricity consumption and operating costs;

Better indoor comfort for guests and staff;

Lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The project fully complies with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Use in Enterprises”, contributing to the green transition and sustainable development of the tourism sector in Bansko.
