This project considers the possibility of receiving grants under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises" from the "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" Program 2021-2027. The applicant carries out their activities in the field of household chemicals in a production workshop in the village of Brestnik, Chairite area, Rodopi municipality, Plovdiv region. The presented project foresees the purchase and installation of a photovoltaic power plant with energy storage batteries on the roof of the workshop, owned by "Gapko" Ltd. The electricity is intended to meet the own needs of the production workshop. A photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of about 100 kWp and batteries also around 100 kWh is planned. Installing storage batteries will allow the excess energy to be stored during periods of lower consumption and used during peak loads, thereby stabilizing the energy balance of the enterprise.
