NEW FOODS AND DRINKS Ltd. is a company based in Plovdiv, which operates under code 56.10 "Activities of restaurants and fast food establishments." The company has a warehouse in the village of Trud, which has cold storage rooms for food storage and a separate kitchen area for food preparation. These processes require a continuous power supply and result in significant electricity costs, which makes the company heavily dependent on external suppliers and places it in a position of vulnerability. As part of the project, NEW FOODS AND DRINKS Ltd. plans to build a new photovoltaic system for its own consumption, which will be installed on the roof of the warehouse. The photovoltaic installation will be connected to the internal power distribution network and will cover part of the electricity consumption required for the operation of the cold rooms and the preparation kitchen. At the same time, an electricity storage system (battery) will be installed, which will allow the accumulation of surplus energy and its use during periods of increased consumption or when there is no sunshine. The construction of its own photovoltaic power plant in combination with a local storage facility will enable NEW FOODS AND DRINKS Ltd. to secure part of its energy needs through a renewable source, reduce electricity costs, and increase the reliability of the energy system, ensuring the continuous operation of the company's main economic activity.
