Description

The project of Lazarov Design Ltd. aims to improve the company’s energy efficiency and ensure sustainable energy management in its production facility. The enterprise operates in the field of industrial and product design, manufacturing of advertising and decorative elements, and 3D modeling and prototyping. These processes require continuous electricity supply for operating high-tech machinery and climate control systems, leading to considerable energy costs and a high carbon footprint.

The project foresees the implementation of a comprehensive set of energy-saving and environmentally friendly measures covering the generation, storage, and efficient use of energy. The main investment includes a 20 kWp photovoltaic power plant (PV system) for self-consumption, combined with an integrated energy storage system with a total capacity of 30 kWh, including 10 kWh additional batteries to increase energy autonomy. Furthermore, a high-efficiency air-to-water heat pump (27.5 kW thermal power) and solar collectors for water heating (total area 6 m²) will be installed.

The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in electricity consumption from the external grid, optimization of energy costs, and substantial decrease in greenhouse gas emissions. The system will ensure stable and efficient power supply aligned with the company’s production profile, contributing to its sustainable growth and competitiveness. The project fully complies with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency for SMEs,” supporting the green transition and the introduction of renewable energy sources in small and medium-sized enterprises.
