The project envisages the construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic system for own consumption in the production base of Lozev Ltd., whose main activity is the production of rusks, biscuits and dry confectionery, characterized by high consumption of electrical energy. The expected sum of the output/nominal active power of the inverters (the output AC characteristics of the inverters) to the photovoltaic system for self-consumption is 150 kW. The main need that will be met through the project is the reduction of high electricity costs arising from the energy-intensive nature of the production process (use of ovens, dryers and other thermal equipment). This limits the competitiveness and sustainability of the enterprise against the backdrop of rising electricity prices and the expected tightening of environmental regulations. The goal of the project is to achieve improved energy efficiency, using energy from renewable sources through the construction of a photovoltaic system covering part of the enterprise's own electricity consumption. The project is aimed both directly at Lozev Ltd. and at its staff, clients and partners, increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of the activity. The expected overall results of the project are expressed in improving energy efficiency and increasing the use of energy from renewable sources, which will lead to increased competitiveness and reduced energy intensity. The investment complies with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment and the achievement of climate sustainability, contributing to the ecological transition in the activity.
