The project proposal focuses on improving energy efficiency and maximizing the utilization of renewable energy by installing local energy storage facilities – battery systems with a capacity of 120 kWh combined with inverters. The company has already installed a photovoltaic system for renewable energy generation, which is currently used mainly in real time. The absence of storage capacity results in energy losses during low consumption hours and limits the full utilization of the renewable energy generated on-site. Through the implementation of the project, the company will ensure effective storage and management of the produced energy, thereby reducing dependence on the electricity distribution grid, lowering energy costs, and enhancing its competitiveness. In addition, the project will contribute to reducing the carbon footprint and supporting the transition towards a low-carbon economy, in line with national and European priorities.
