The project proposal of FAVO AD aims to improve the company’s energy efficiency and reduce the energy intensity of its production processes through the installation of renewable energy sources. The company is a medium-sized enterprise with long-standing experience in the manufacturing and trade of wooden wallpaper tables, aluminum wallpaper and multifunctional tables, workbenches, plywood, and other wooden products, being one of the leading European producers in this segment. FAVO AD has an active presence on the European market, supplying mainly wholesalers and construction hypermarkets in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and other EU countries. The project foresees the installation of a photovoltaic system with inverters with a capacity of 200 kW, designed entirely for self-consumption at the company’s production site. The manufacturing process is characterized by high energy consumption, resulting in substantial electricity costs and a notable carbon footprint. The implementation of the photovoltaic system will enable the generation of clean solar electricity, reducing dependence on the external power grid and ensuring a more sustainable and predictable energy supply. The project will lead to lower energy costs, optimized energy performance, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and enhanced competitiveness of the enterprise. This investment will support the long-term sustainable development of FAVO AD and contribute to achieving national and European goals for energy efficiency and the green transition.
