The main activity of "Alvers Komers" Ltd. is the production of reinforcement blanks (rebar) for building skeletons for reinforced concrete structures for the needs of the construction industry. The company operates its own production facility for processing reinforcing steel. The company strives to optimize energy use with the goal of reducing harmful emissions released into the atmosphere. The present project is in fulfillment of the objectives of the procedure "Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy Sources in Enterprises"—to provide focused support to Bulgarian enterprises to improve their energy efficiency and encourage the use of renewable energy sources (RES), thereby accelerating the transition of the private sector toward climate neutrality. With a view to greater energy independence and a transition to environmentally friendly activities, after conducting procedures for selecting a contractor, a PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANT (INCLUDING SOLAR PANELS, INVERTERS, BATTERIES AND OTHER COMPONENTS NECESSARY FOR THE OPERATION OF THE PLANT with an inverter power of 50 kW) will be built. To overcome the limitations to the company's future development, the PVPP will be installed, which will allow the company to use environmentally friendly energy produced by the PVPP for its own needs, and to utilize it during power outages and as a supplementary energy source. The new Photovoltaic Power Plant will allow the company to secure a stable energy supply, minimize energy costs, and ensure the continuity of the production process, which will make it more competitive in the market. The investments under the procedure comply with the requirements of the "do no significant harm" principle to the environment and will contribute to the country's ecological transition.
