Planning region: All

Description

This project proposal is aimed at improving the energy efficiency and increasing the competitiveness of the Moreto Hotel, Obzor, by implementing modern ventilation, air conditioning and energy-saving infrastructure systems. The main goal is to reduce energy costs, the carbon footprint and energy intensity of the site, while ensuring higher comfort for guests and sustainable development of the tourism business.

The project includes dismantling an old, energy-intensive ventilation installation and delivery and installation of highly efficient solutions: ducted air conditioners, centrifugal and ducted fans, air ducts and facade grilles, as well as insulating materials to minimize heat loss. The investments are in line with the list of eligible asset categories under the procedure, relying on highly energy-efficient systems that will reduce electricity consumption and extend the service life of the equipment.

The expected results are related to increasing the energy efficiency of the hotel, reducing electricity costs by over 20%, improving the microclimate in the premises and increasing the use of environmentally friendly technologies. The modernization will provide a significant contribution to the objectives of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021-2027, aimed at sustainable development and transition to a low-carbon economy.

The project will contribute to achieving the main indicators of the procedure: increasing the number of supported enterprises and realizing private investments in energy efficiency, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the tourism business in the region.
