The project proposal will improve EE in Kirkovo Ltd and promote climate neutrality by reducing carbon footprint,optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewable energy in the company's energy mix. In the context of increased requirements for sustainable economic development and in response to the challenges associated with climate change,Kirkovo identifies need to implement specific measures to improve EE. The creation and implementation of additional measures and incentives for decarbonization of the economy is essential for maintaining and improving competitiveness.Kirkovo taking steps to implement EE measures and integration of RES. The main project activities include an integrated package of EE/RES measures:EE insulation systems for external walls and windows, heat pumps and systems for hot water and DHW.The identified need is related to a high share of purchased electricity, outdated/inefficient equipment and isolation, which increases the cost and reduces the predictability of costs. The implementation of the project will reduce the annual and specific energy consumption;increase the share of renewable energy in the final consumption of the site;reduce GHG emissions;improve the parameters of the working environment(illumination/microclimate/stability of technical systems).The target groups of the project are KirkovoLtd,the company's employees,clients and partners,the local community and environment. The implementation of the project will have a positive impact on both the competitiveness of Kirkovo and the overall improvement of the EE of the economy and the reduction of energy intensity.Support will be key to realizing the company's investment intentions and will enable the continuation of the transition to a low-carbon model of the region.It is of key importance both for achieving sustainable growth of the enterprise and for contributing to the overall transformation of the economy towards lower carbon intensity.
