The investment intention of "SHAKER" Ltd. is aimed at implementing measures to increase energy efficiency in the existing production and administrative base of the company, located in the town of Sevlievo, 8 Velikotarnovo Shosse Street. The project envisages replacing existing windows with new transparent enclosing structures with a frame of extruded polyvinyl chloride with a total area of 300 sq.m and implementing six industrial doors in the building, which is used by waste trucks and platforms with motor vehicles for dismantling. The new windows and doors are distinguished by high energy-saving and heat-insulating characteristics, which will limit heat losses, improve the microclimate in the building and ensure better energy efficiency in areas with intensive transport flow. The project also includes the purchase and installation of thirty-two energy-saving spotlight-type lighting fixtures, which will be implemented in the production area at Zona East 8A. They will reduce electricity costs and improve the quality of lighting in the work premises. The implementation of the investment is in full compliance with the objectives of the procedure for providing non-repayable financial assistance aimed at improving the energy efficiency of Bulgarian enterprises, promoting the use of energy from renewable sources and accelerating the transition to climate neutrality. The implementation of the project will lead to a reduction in the energy consumption and carbon footprint of the enterprise, optimization of operating costs and increasing its competitiveness in the long term. Against the background of the increasing instability of electricity and fossil fuel prices, the planned investments will help reduce the energy dependence of SHAKER OOD and ensure higher sustainability and predictability of production costs.
