"LIPO-HART" Ltd. is a modern enterprise for the production of corrugated and micro-corrugated packaging. The company has been on the market for more than 25 years and has established itself as one of the major manufacturers of packaging for the food industry and other sectors of light industry. The company has a printing facility for two-color flexographic printing. In the company’s production workshop, equipment with a capacity of about 200 kW is installed. The production equipment operates on a two-shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Within this time frame, energy consumption falls into peak hours in the morning and evening, when the cost of energy significantly increases due to the lack of production from renewable energy sources. The project proposal envisages the construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 56 kW and batteries for storing the energy produced at times when the energy price on the free market is acceptable, and feeding the accumulated energy into production during peak hours, when its price exceeds a certain threshold. This will enable the company to reduce its energy costs, thereby lowering the cost price of the products manufactured, which will allow for a more flexible pricing policy in a highly competitive market and ensure sustainability in the short and medium term.
