The main objective of the project is to improve the company’s energy efficiency through the use of renewable energy sources, thereby accelerating its transition toward climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption, and increasing the share of renewable energy in the site’s energy mix. As part of the eligible target groups under the procedure, the applicant plans to invest in the construction of a Photovoltaic Power Plant (including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other components necessary for the operation of the plant) with an installed capacity of 15 kW, combined with local energy storage facilities (batteries) and an inverter with a capacity of 14.4 kW. The investment will be implemented on the territory of the company’s facility, which operates as a hotel with 23 apartments. The need for the implementation of the investment arises from the high energy intensity of activities in the hospitality sector and the increasing electricity costs, which have a direct impact on the company’s competitiveness. The implementation of the project will enable the company’s building to operate in a partially energy-independent and sustainable manner through the use of a renewable energy source — solar energy. Expected project results: Improved energy efficiency and increased use of renewable energy for own consumption by VIKO CONSULT Ltd.; Enhanced competitiveness and reduced energy intensity of the enterprise. Main activities: Improving energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable energy sources within the enterprise, including the supply, installation, and commissioning of equipment, in accordance with the list of eligible categories of assets in the field of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.
