Description

"PACKIT.BG" Ltd is a rapidly developing Bulgarian company for production of cartons, boxes, corrugated cardboard boxes and trade of packaging materials. The company started in 2015 and to date the facilities are located on 1300 m2 and include  production and commercial related premises, which are interconnected at the same floor (2nd floor), physical store at the 1st floor and online store - where the produced products are offered, offices, website. The company carries out its activities in premises under long-term lease where the project shall also be implemented. 
The project proposal involves purchasing and installing 8 air-to-air heat pumps, each with heat capacity of 15 kW and conversion coefficient and average seasonal efficiency above 3.5 each and meet all the requirements and characteristics specified in the procedure. The heat pumps will be used entirely for self-consumption and for the main economic production activity, and partly for additional permissible activity—commercial activity, which is in addition to and for the purposes of the main production activity of the company. The project shall  improve the energy efficiency and increase the share of energy from renewable sources (air) in the company. Energy consumption for heating and cooling will be reduced by over 30%, optimization of energy consumption shall be achieved. This will reduce operational electricity costs, enhance the company's competitiveness and sustainable development, improve the microclimate and working conditions, and reduce the carbon footprint. The project shall also contribute to the energy transition and climate neutrality of the company in particular, and of the Bulgarian economy in general.
