Description

The project proposal of "Energy Technoinvest" EOOD is aimed at improving the energy efficiency in the company's property - the "Baikal" hotel, located in the central part of the Sunny Beach resort. The hotel consists of four buildings of different heights (3, 4, 5 and 7 floors) and has 282 rooms and 20 apartments, serving a significant number of tourists during the active summer season.
The main goal of the project is to reduce electricity consumption and increase the energy efficiency of the building stock by replacing depreciated and outdated heating and cooling equipment. The project envisages the delivery and installation of three new high-efficiency heat pumps, as follows:
- Water-Water with a capacity of 60 kW;
- Air-Water with a capacity of 80 kW;
- Air-Water with a capacity of 170 kW.
The facilities will be implemented in the largest - 7-storey building (Block 3) of the hotel, where the main bedrooms are located. The implementation of the investment will achieve significant optimization of energy consumption, extension of the life cycle of building systems and reduction of energy costs.

The expected results include:
- significant reduction of the carbon footprint through more efficient use of energy;
- increasing the competitiveness of the company by reducing operating costs;
- ensuring higher quality of the offered tourist service and sustainable development of the hotel.

The project is fully consistent with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", contributing to increasing energy efficiency and the transition to climate neutrality.
