Description

The project of Plamen Petrov – P Ltd. is aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the company’s main facility in Stara Zagora. The building was constructed many years ago and has not undergone any major renovation so far. The lack of thermal insulation and the presence of old windows and doors lead to considerable heat losses and high heating and cooling costs.
The proposed investment includes two main measures:
1.	Installation of XPS thermal insulation on approximately 564 sq.m of external walls and floors;
2.	Replacement of about 188 sq.m of outdated windows and doors with new PVC frames of high energy efficiency class.
The expected effect is substantial – an annual reduction of energy consumption by around 140,000 kWh, resulting in approximately 50% lower electricity and heating expenses. The project will also contribute to a reduction of CO₂ emissions by 30–35 tons per year and will improve the indoor climate for both employees and customers.
In addition, the project has a clear regional impact, as it is implemented in the Stara Zagora region – a key area for the Just Energy Transition. By introducing energy efficiency measures in a medium-sized enterprise, the project provides a real contribution to the decarbonization of the local economy and supports the implementation of the Regional Just Transition Plan and the National Strategy for Climate Neutrality by 2050.
As a result, the company will become an example of green transformation in the private sector, demonstrating how efficient energy management leads to higher competitiveness, better working conditions, and sustainable growth.
