The company's main activity involves the complete construction of HVAC systems. This activity is characterized by significant electricity consumption for its trade, warehouse, and service facilities. The optimization and management of energy costs are a top priority for the "MMC Inc" sustainable growth, considering global climate change and the increasing pressure for business decarbonization, in line with European and national environmental policies. The activities of the current project address the challenges of finding sustainable solutions for cost optimization and limiting the company's ecological footprint. The project plans for the construction of a 100 kW photovoltaic power plant for the production of energy from renewable sources for internal consumption and local energy storage facilities (batteries) with a capacity of 101.38 kWh. These will be installed on the company's own buildings - a logistics and warehouse base, that are used for the company's main and auxiliary activities. The main objective of the project is to achieve higher energy efficiency and sustainable development for the company by implementing solutions for the production and storage of energy from renewable sources for its own needs. The project's implementation will ensure a stable and environmentally friendly production of electricity to support the company's activities, reducing its dependence on external suppliers and the fluctuations of the energy markets. The execution of the project activities will ensure the sustainable growth of "MMC Inc" Ltd. in key areas that hinder its competitiveness and slow down its transformation into a low-carbon and resource-efficient enterprise.
