The project of BALDARAN SPRING JSC envisages the implementation of measures to improve energy efficiency at the company’s production facility in the town of Devin. The company carries out its main activity under NACE 11.07 – “Manufacture of soft drinks; production of mineral waters and other bottled waters.” Spring water “Baldaran” is bottled in a modern plant equipped with automated production lines, ensuring a closed production cycle and high-quality standards. With the aim of sustainable development and reduction of energy costs, the project proposal includes the introduction of energy-efficient insulation systems for external walls and floors exposed to outside air, as well as the purchase and commissioning of high-efficiency chillers – units with water-cooled condensers. These measures will contribute to improving the thermal efficiency of the building stock and optimizing energy consumption in the production process. The expected results from the implementation of the project include: -reduction of energy consumption from non-renewable sources and related operating costs; -improvement of energy efficiency in core production and auxiliary activities; -extension of the operational life of production equipment; -creation of a better working environment; -reduction of the company’s carbon footprint. The investment fully complies with the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle for the environment, meets all applicable ecological requirements, and will contribute to the achievement of national and European energy efficiency and sustainable development goals. Through the implementation of this project, BALDARAN SPRING JSC will increase its resource efficiency, optimize its production costs, and strengthen its position as a competitive enterprise, adapted to the requirements of a low-carbon economy.
