The project envisages the construction of a 60 kW photovoltaic power plant and an energy storage system with a capacity equal to or greater than the power of the photovoltaic panels, for the needs of the Livadite hotel complex, located near the village of Debrashtitsa. The aim is to ensure its own production and optimal use of electricity from a renewable source, covering a large part of the current monthly consumption (about 9–10 MWh) and reducing dependence on the grid power supply. The project will contribute to increasing energy efficiency and independence, reducing carbon emissions, as well as to the sustainable development of tourism activities by introducing environmentally friendly technologies and good practices in energy management.
