Planning region: All

Description

The project of ASTRA AGRO Ltd. is focused on improving energy efficiency and promoting the use of renewable energy sources through the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for self-consumption. The system will include solar panels, inverters, batteries, and all necessary components for efficient operation and energy storage.
The company specializes in the production of machinery and attachments for agriculture and forestry. Its manufacturing process involves the use of energy-intensive equipment, resulting in high electricity costs. In the context of an unstable energy environment and rising prices, the need for sustainable energy solutions is critical for maintaining competitiveness and economic stability.
The target group of the project is the enterprise itself, which will directly benefit from reduced energy costs, increased energy independence, and an improved environmental footprint. Expected results include: optimization of energy consumption, reduction of carbon emissions, enhanced operational resilience, and strengthened long-term competitiveness.
The main activities include: design, delivery, and installation of the photovoltaic system with battery storage; commissioning; project management, monitoring, and reporting.
ASTRA AGRO Ltd. will implement the project with the care of a diligent economic operator, applying the principles of sound financial management—economy, efficiency, and effectiveness—while ensuring transparency, publicity, and fair competition, in full compliance with the Administrative Contract and best practices in the field of energy efficiency.
