The project proposal envisages increasing energy efficiency and increasing the share of energy from renewable sources in the company's activities by implementing new equipment. Within the framework of the project, a 30 kW photovoltaic power plant will be purchased and put into operation, which will produce clean energy from renewable sources and will cover part of the company's needs, reducing the carbon footprint in the environment and the applicant's dependence on external electricity suppliers. The implementation of the project will lead to a reduction in energy intensity and operating costs, as well as to improving the competitiveness of the company, a key factor for which is the accessibility of energy. The project proposal is in line with the objectives of the procedure "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", since the implementation of specific measures in the field of energy transition is important not only from the point of view of preventing climate change, but also to reduce the country's vulnerability to fluctuations in fossil fuel prices. In this regard, the implementation of investments aimed at increasing energy efficiency and the increasing penetration of renewable energy technologies into the enterprise becomes a mandatory factor on the path to its sustainable development. The investments under this project proposal comply with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment.
