The overall objective of the project proposal is to increase the energy efficiency and sustainability of the production activities of FRINA-KM Ltd. through the construction and implementation of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 55 kW for own consumption. The realization of this investment will contribute to reducing the company’s carbon footprint, lowering energy costs, and accelerating the transition to the use of renewable energy sources. The need for support under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 for FRINA-KM Ltd. is determined by the high energy intensity of furniture manufacturing, the unstable electricity prices, the requirements of European green transition policies, and the need for sustainable development. By implementing the project, FRINA-KM Ltd. will achieve a significant improvement in its energy efficiency, a reduction of its carbon footprint, and an increase in its competitiveness, while also contributing to the achievement of national and European climate neutrality goals.
