With this project proposal, ArMe Ltd. is applying to receive financial support for energy-efficient equipment and the use of energy from renewable sources, which will help the enterprise improve its competitiveness, as well as continue with its investment intentions in technological modernization and production renewal. The implementation of the project will contribute to increasing the energy autonomy, competitiveness and reducing the energy intensity of the candidate enterprise. The significant increase in the price of electricity and natural gas observed in recent years disrupts the functioning of almost all economic activities, and in the manufacturing sector, the impact of price increases is decisive for competitiveness. The implementation of specific measures in the field of energy transition is important not only from the perspective of preventing climate change, but also to reduce the vulnerability of the economy to fluctuations in fossil fuel prices. Industrial consumers are facing the prospect of higher energy bills at a time when it is impacting their recovery and growth following the pandemic and ongoing war in Ukraine. The expected results for ArMe Ltd from the support under the procedure are expressed in improving energy efficiency and increasing the use of energy from renewable sources for its own needs, through the construction of a power plant with the help of the procedure and efficient use of photovoltaic panels for accumulation and subsequent storage of energy in local facilities for storing the produced energy. Another economic benefit, and at the same time an energy benefit for the company, is the use of batteries for energy storage, as facilities to be used for energy power during power outages and smooth shutdown and subsequent restart of production machines and equipment, eliminating risks of machine failures.
