With this project proposal, the company SAITRON Ltd. is applying to receive financial support for the introduction of energy-efficient equipment and the use of energy from renewable sources, which will help the company maintain its competitiveness, as well as continue with its investment intentions in technological and innovative solutions. The significant increase in the price of electricity and energy carriers as a whole, observed in recent years, disrupts the functioning of almost all economic activities, with price increases being decisive for competitiveness. Business users are facing the prospect of higher energy bills at a time when it is impacting their recovery and growth following the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The expected results for the company from the support under the procedure are expressed in improving energy efficiency and introducing into the enterprise activities related to the use of energy from renewable sources for its own needs, through the use of photovoltaic panels for accumulating and storing the generated energy in storage batteries. Another economic benefit for the company will be the use of batteries for energy storage, as facilities to be used for energy power during power outages and smooth shutdown and subsequent regulated switching on of a number of hardware facilities operated by the company, eliminating risks of server and disk space failures. The introduction of the use of FPPs and batteries for storing produced energy will contribute to increasing the energy autonomy of the enterprise, its competitiveness and reducing energy intensity. The project proposal plans to carry out construction and renovation works by replacing the company's outdated and compromised entrance door with a new glazed door with an aluminum frame with a broken thermal bridge, which will have significantly higher energy efficiency indicators.
