The project proposal is structured according to the requirements of the specific procedure, but reflects the specifics of Priority: 2. Circular Economy of the Program "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027. It is based on the need to improve the competitiveness of the company, as well as the aspiration to achieve carbon neutrality, as a goal set in the company's development strategy. The main objective of the project is: Accelerating the transition of Unimet EOOD to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing energy from renewable sources in the energy mix of the company. The main objective is supported by the following specific objectives: Objective 1 - Improving energy efficiency in the implementation of Unimet EOOD's activities; Objective 2 - Promoting the use of energy from renewable sources. The two specific objectives are interconnected, since the implementation of the planned investment will lead to an improvement in energy efficiency parameters, based on the production of electricity for own needs. The objectives set in this way are related to the planned activities and expected results. The main activity is the construction of an installation for the production of electricity from renewable sources for the company's own needs, for which a photovoltaic power plant will be built, including solar panels, inverters, batteries and other components necessary for the operation of the plant. The expected result of the project is a built capacity of 56 kV, which will provide about 35% of the necessary electricity for the company's activities. The target group of the project is the trading company Unimet EOOD, incl. its employees.
