The project of "Desita" LTD envisages the implementation of energy efficiency measures and the use of renewable energy sources in the buildings of the company's training centers in the city of Gabrovo - at 11 Pencho Postompirov Street and 105 Stefan Karadzha Blvd. The main goal is to reduce energy losses, optimize energy costs and reduce the carbon footprint by moving to sustainable and environmentally responsible management of the building stock. The planned activities include: - Improving thermal insulation by installing thermal panels on the external walls and roof of the site at 11 Pencho Postompirov Street; - Installing a photovoltaic plant with a capacity of about 20 kWp, providing up to 40-50% of the annual electricity consumption of the building / depending on the specific climatic conditions in the given year/period / at the site at 11 Pencho Postompirov Street; - Replacement of outdated entrance doors with energy-efficient ones, improving insulation and limiting heat loss for the building at 105 Stefan Karadzha Blvd. and 11 Pencho Postompirov Str.; - Replacement of garage doors with new models with increased thermal performance for the building at 105 Stefan Karadzha Blvd. The implementation of the measures will lead to: - reduction of energy consumption by 40%-50% of the annual electricity consumption of the building /depending on the specific climatic conditions in the given year/period/;, - reduction of carbon emissions by about 25–30 tons of CO₂ per year, - reduction of the carbon footprint of the company as a whole. In addition, the project will improve the comfort and microclimate in the classrooms, create a healthier and more sustainable learning environment, and establish the company as an innovative and environmentally responsible training center.
