he project proposal of Distillery Isperih JSC aims to improve the energy efficiency of the company’s production building located in Isperih, Razgrad region. The main activity of the enterprise is the production of alcoholic beverages (NACE 11.01), which is energy-intensive and requires the maintenance of specific microclimatic and technological conditions. An energy consumption analysis identified that the company’s building stock does not meet modern energy efficiency standards, with a significant part of the heat losses resulting from insufficient insulation of the external walls. The project foresees the implementation of thermal insulation measures on the external envelope of the production building, in order to reduce heat losses, improve the building’s energy performance, and decrease overall energy consumption. The implementation of the investment will contribute to optimizing energy costs, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving working conditions, and enhancing the company’s sustainability and competitiveness. The project is fully aligned with the objectives of the procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises”, supporting the transition towards a greener and climate-neutral economy, in compliance with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle and the EU horizontal policies.
