"MP-METALPLAST" JSC is a company specialized in metalworking and production of metal structures, spare parts and processing of body parts, coils, parts for road construction machines, production and installation of lifting equipment, etc. The company's activities are carried out in its own base, located in the town of Pirdop.
As a manufacturing company, where the energy component is a significant factor in forming the final price, "MP-METALPLAST" AD is faced with challenges related to high energy intensity, uncertainty of energy supplies and dynamics of electricity prices.
To address these challenges and in accordance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", the project envisages the implementation of an investment under item 14 of the List of eligible assets, namely:
• Photovoltaic system (photovoltaic panels in combination with inverter/s), with a capacity of 200 kW, which will ensure its own production of renewable electricity.
The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in the energy intensity of the production process, a reduction in carbon emissions and a permanent increase in the competitiveness of the enterprise in the target markets.
The total value of the investment is BGN 208,286.00, and the duration of the project is 12 months.
