The project proposal of "Hotel Crystal" is aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing electricity costs by building a combined cycle power plant with storage systems. Need: The current operation of the hotel and restaurant relies to a significant extent on electricity from conventional sources, resulting in high costs. The need is related to ensuring independence from electricity market fluctuations, as well as reducing the carbon footprint and responsible economic behavior. Target groups: The company that implements renewable energy in its activities. Direct users are: the clients of the hotel and restaurant, who will benefit from better prices and quality of the services offered. Staff: by creating a more sustainable and environmentally friendly company, creating more sustainable jobs Indirect: the local community in Zlatograd, by stimulating the RES economy. Main objective: Increasing the energy efficiency and independence of the hotel and restaurant by implementing a combined heat and power plant with storage systems. Specific: Covering 20% of the site's energy needs through its own production. Reducing electricity costs. Realizing an investment in batteries to store the produced energy to cover morning and evening electricity consumption. Demonstrating environmental responsibility and sustainability. Expected results: Installed renewable energy source and reduced conventional energy use. Generated renewable energy of 80 MWh per year. Fulfilled commitment to a greener future for the region. Reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Main activities: Construction and commissioning of a 60 kWp photovoltaic system on the roof of the building.
