Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project is related to the high energy costs and unstable energy profile of the specialized auto center in the city of Gabrovo. The need is clear: limiting heat losses, modernizing the lighting and ensuring its own electricity production for more predictable bills and more reliable operation of the installations in the reception, service area, warehouse and front office.
Objectives:
(1) reducing final energy consumption through insulation measures and replacing the lighting;
(2) increasing energy independence through its own electricity production from renewable sources;
(3) smoothing out daily peaks and a stable microclimate in the service and customer areas;
(4) lower carbon footprint and better working and service conditions.
Measures:
1. 30 kW PV plant for own consumption, configured without return to the grid - modules, inverters, structures and protective elements. The FEP mainly covers the daily loads of the service (lighting, tools, compressors, ventilation/air conditioning, IT/office).
2. Linear luminaires 36 W – 60 pcs. for service and warehouse areas – higher light efficiency, uniform illumination and lower consumption.
3. Thermal insulation systems – mineral wool slabs, 250 m² on enclosing elements to limit losses/gains and a stable indoor climate.
4. Sandwich panels – 50 m² for roof/areas with increased losses – reduction of overheating in summer and heat losses in winter.
Main activities: technical survey and detailing; design; delivery and installation of the FEP; replacement of lighting with linear luminaires; implementation of insulation measures (mineral wool and sandwich panels); introduction of production/consumption monitoring for maximum self-consumption.
Expected results: significant reduction in grid electricity consumption and operating costs; more stable energy profile with lower peak loads; more reliable operation of service equipment and HVAC; better conditions for staff and customers; reduction of CO₂ emissions
