Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project proposal envisages the implementation of measures to significantly improve the energy efficiency of an industrial building by thermal insulation of the roof with sandwich panels, replacement of the depreciated window frames with PVC profiles and replacement of the old external metal doors with new industrial solid doors.
Saibulding EOOD owned the building and used it for storage of construction machinery, equipment and materials, as well as for the production of reinforcement blanks. The building has not been renovated in the last 20 years and its condition is very poor.
The planned investments address the existing heat losses through the roof, windows and external doors, reduce energy costs and improve the internal microclimate in the premises. The implementation of the project will lead to lower energy intensity of the activity, increased competitiveness of the enterprise and reduction of the carbon footprint, in accordance with the objectives and requirements of the procedure.
The main results and effect of implementing the planned measures are in the following directions: drastic reduction of heat losses; optimized energy consumption; reduction of operating costs; ecological transition of the industry; favorable working environment; long-term value of the building stock and economic sustainability of the enterprise as a whole.
