Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project proposal envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency and use renewable energy sources in the activities of AUTO - SI LTD. With the implementation of the investment, the company will significantly reduce energy consumption in its car service base, optimize current electricity costs and reduce its carbon footprint, which will contribute to a more sustainable and competitive development of the enterprise.

The investment includes the construction of a photovoltaic system with an output (nominal) active power of 70 kW and a local energy storage facility (battery system) with a capacity of 70 kWh, intended for its own consumption. The system will be equipped with an inverter for converting the produced energy and synchronizing it with the internal electricity distribution network of the enterprise. The battery system will provide load balancing, reduction of peak power and the possibility of using the stored energy in periods without sunlight or at increased electricity prices. This solution will ensure the company's own production of green electricity and reduce its dependence on external suppliers.

The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure, contributing to accelerating the company's transition to climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewable energy in the company's energy mix by:
- Reducing carbon emissions through the use of clean energy;
- Increasing the energy independence and sustainability of the company;
- Significantly optimizing electricity costs and reducing vulnerability to fluctuations in energy prices;
- Improving the competitiveness and sustainable development of the company.
