The project of "SHULTZ-79" Ltd., an enterprise operating in the field of wholesale trade in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, envisages the implementation of key measures to improve energy efficiency, energy independence and sustainable management of resources in the company's commercial, warehouse and business base. The following activities are envisaged within the framework of the project: - Construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) in combination with a local energy storage facility with an installed capacity of 20kW, designed to cover part of the enterprise's own energy needs. The PVPP will include solar panels, inverters, batteries and other components necessary for the effective functioning of the plant; - Additional installation of an energy storage system (batteries) with a capacity of 56.8kWh, which will allow for the accumulation of the generated electricity, its more efficient use during hours of increased consumption and will ensure greater energy security; - Replacement of the old joinery in the commercial and warehouse building with new, energy-efficient joinery with improved thermal and sound insulation characteristics. This will lead to lower energy losses, a better indoor microclimate and reduced heating and cooling costs. The expected results of the project are a renovated commercial and warehouse and business premises with energy-efficient joinery, significantly reduced consumption of electricity from the grid and a significant reduction in carbon emissions, ultimately increasing the sustainability and efficiency of the company. The project is fully consistent with the horizontal policies of the European Union, including those aimed at sustainable development, energy efficiency and environmental protection. By using renewable energy sources, reducing the carbon footprint and increasing energy independence.
