“Tsvetomania” Ltd. is a company specialized in the trade and distribution of decorative plants, garden accessories and materials, as well as in the construction and maintenance of green areas. The project proposal is aimed at improving the energy efficiency of Tsvetomania Ltd. through the installation and commissioning of photovoltaic panels combined with an inverter with a capacity of 15 kW, and local energy storage systems (batteries) combined with an inverter with a capacity of 20 kW. The project also includes the installation of energy-efficient insulation systems in a new building under construction, the implementation of energy-saving lighting fixtures, and the purchase of two heat pumps (10 kW each) to ensure optimal thermal comfort. The electricity generated by the photovoltaic system under the project will be used exclusively for self-consumption, supporting the company’s main economic activity – NACE 81.30 “Landscape service activities.” In the context of rising electricity prices and instability in energy markets, reducing energy costs has become a key factor for the long-term sustainability of Tsvetomania Ltd. Through the implementation of the project, the company will improve its energy efficiency in several aspects: Significant reduction of current operating costs, by replacing purchased electricity with renewable energy produced on-site; Improved working conditions and customer service, through a better microclimate in the garden center and office. The target group of the project is Tsvetomania Ltd. – a small enterprise that aims to modernize and optimize its energy efficiency, reduce its energy load, and achieve greater resilience in energy-related costs. The project activities will be implemented within the territory of Sofia, in compliance with the horizontal principles under Article 9 of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1060, including the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) requirements ensuring no significant adverse impact on the environment.
