"Dari Ice" Ltd. is an enterprise with a main economic activity under the 2008 Classification of Economic Activities – 46.39 Non-specialized wholesale of food, beverages and tobacco products. The company operates in the field of wholesale trade in ice cream and frozen desserts, which are stored in a refrigerated chamber at the base and delivered to customers with specialized refrigerated trucks with built-in isothermal chambers for frozen products. The work is related to the continuous operation of refrigeration equipment and night charging of the trucks, which leads to high electricity consumption. On the one hand, this increases the company's operating costs, and on the other hand, it limits the effective use of the already built photovoltaic system, since a large part of the consumption is in the evening and at night, when there is no production from the solar panels. This project proposal envisages the installation of "Local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverter/s" - 197 kWh to the existing photovoltaic system for own consumption. They will enable the electricity produced during the day to be accumulated and used later to power the cold storage and to charge the refrigerated trucks. This will reduce dependence on the external electricity distribution network, optimize costs and increase the share of energy used from renewable sources. The expected effect is a significant increase in energy efficiency and a reduction in current costs, combined with limiting the carbon footprint through better utilization of clean energy. The project will contribute to the sustainable development of "Dari Ice" Ltd., support the transition to a greener economy and provide more competitive services based on energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions.
