The project envisages the construction of a 30 kW photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) installed on the roof of the production building of “Lormet Bulgaria” Ltd. in Gabrovo. The generated electricity will be fully used for self-consumption in the company’s packaging production processes. The implementation of the project will reduce energy costs, limit dependence on fluctuating electricity prices, and contribute to environmental protection by lowering carbon emissions. The company specializes in packaging for the dairy industry but also provides solutions for a wider range of food and pharmaceutical products. Its production cycle already complies with GMP standards, ensuring full quality and microbiological control. With the installation of the PVPP, the company will strengthen its competitiveness by combining sustainable energy use with high-quality production standards. The project will deliver long-term benefits in terms of energy independence and will support the transition towards a circular and sustainable economy.
