Description

Bultem Ltd. is an enterprise with a main economic activity with the KID code C 22.21 Production of sheets, plates, pipes and profiles, made of plastics, operating on the territory of the city of Haskovo. The company's activity is characterized by high energy intensity and high consumption of electrical energy.

The main (overall) objective of the project is: To make investments in the enterprise related to improving its energy efficiency, thereby accelerating the Applicant's transition to climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint and optimizing its energy consumption.

The main objective of the project fully corresponds to and directly contributes to achieving the objective of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises".

The project will be implemented through the implementation of an activity eligible under the procedure: Activities aimed at improving energy efficiency and using energy from renewable sources in enterprises, within which the implementation of the following investment is planned
according to the List of eligible asset categories in the field of energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources:
1. Chiller (under item 6 of the List) - with a unit with an air-cooled condenser and a cooling capacity of 199 kW - 1 unit.
The implementation of the investment planned in the project will also support the implementation of the goals for secure, sustainable, competitive and economically accessible energy.
As a result of the project implementation, the energy efficiency of the Candidate will be improved, and the above will contribute to increasing its competitiveness and reducing its energy intensity.
