Description

KIMAYA SRI LTD is an established company with experience in the production of outerwear. The main objective of this project is to increase the energy efficiency and sustainability of the company by building a photovoltaic installation for its own consumption in combination with an energy storage system (batteries).

The project is aimed at reducing electricity costs and limiting dependence on fluctuations in fossil fuel prices, which will increase the competitiveness and financial stability of the company. At the same time, a significant reduction in the carbon footprint will be achieved and it will contribute to achieving the national and European goals for the transition to climate neutrality.

The implementation of renewable energy sources will optimize the energy consumption of production facilities and technical systems, ensuring stability of the production process and sustainability in the long term. The energy storage system will allow for a balanced use of the produced electricity, minimizing the disadvantages of RES related to intermittent production.

The investment is fully compliant with the principle of “doing no significant harm” to the environment and will support the company’s ecological transition.

The expected results include:
- significant reduction in energy costs and carbon intensity;
- increasing the share of energy used from renewable sources;
- increasing the competitiveness of KIMAYA SRI EOOD and ensuring sustainable development.

Through the implementation of the project, the company will contribute both to achieving its strategic goals for modernization and sustainability, and to the implementation of national commitments in the field of energy efficiency and climate policies.
