Planning region: All

Description

The project proposal is aimed at promoting the use of renewable energy by “STARS TRADING” Ltd., through the construction of a Photovoltaic Power Plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 80 kW. The electricity generated by the PVPP under the project will be used exclusively for the company’s own consumption in its additional economic activity – C 22.22 – “Manufacture of plastic packaging.”

In the context of rising electricity prices and instability in energy markets, reducing energy costs has become a key factor for the long-term sustainability of any manufacturing enterprise. By constructing the proposed PVPP, “STARS TRADING” Ltd. will enhance its competitiveness in several aspects:

Significant reduction of current operating costs through the substitution of purchased electricity with renewable energy produced on-site;

Increased energy autonomy and reduced dependence on external suppliers;

Continuity of power supply, including during grid failures, through the use of smart inverters and battery storage systems.

The target group of the project is “STARS TRADING” Ltd., a small enterprise based in the city of Shumen, aiming to improve its energy efficiency and increase the share of renewable energy used for its own operational needs.

The project activities, focused on improving energy efficiency and promoting the use of renewable energy within enterprises, will be implemented in Shumen, Goren Susurluk area, property No. 83510.620.6, and will comply with the horizontal principles under Article 9 of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1060, including the principle of “Do No Significant Harm.”

As a result of the project implementation, “STARS TRADING” Ltd. will improve its energy efficiency and increase the share of renewable energy used for its own needs in the company’s manufacturing operations.
