"Georgi Ventsislavov 2005" Ltd. has built a photovoltaic power plant with a total installed peak power of 160 kW, serving the needs of one of the company's largest retail outlets in the city of Levski (1A Han Asparuh Street). Energy systems in the FMCG trade are characterized by high peak loads and seasonal fluctuations in consumption, which could categorically determine the investment in energy storage batteries as particularly relevant for companies developing their activities in the field of food and household goods trade, such as "Georgi Ventsislavov 2005" Ltd. The company has a significant consumption of electricity to carry out its activities: • It operates at maximum load all year round • All working and infrastructure capacities that consume electricity operate intensively • The intensive work process does not always coincide with the maximum peak of solar intensity during the day, which would contribute to optimal usability of the produced electricity • The year-round intensive consumption of electricity is both during the light and dark part of the day, given the activities in the retail outlets, namely - storage of food products (frozen and chilled goods) and for continuous operation of the racks, lights and POS systems. The present project proposal of “Georgi Ventsislavov 2005“ Ltd. for the construction of local energy storage facilities will encourage the environmentally friendly activities of the company and optimize the costs of the company's activities - key factors for increasing competitiveness and supporting its sustainable upward business development.
