The project proposal of "TONIKO" Ltd. is aimed at building a photovoltaic power plant (PPP) with an integrated energy storage system (batteries), intended for self-consumption by the hotel complex managed by the company in the Golden Sands resort complex. The hotel operates year-round, with the load on the power system reaching maximum values during the summer months due to the operation of an outdoor swimming pool, SPA center, restaurant, air conditioning and ventilation system. In the peak summer seasons, electricity costs are a significant share of operating costs, and in the winter season the main energy load is related to heating and air conditioning installations. With the implementation of the project, a photovoltaic installation will be built on the roof structure and/or free areas of the complex, which will produce electricity for the hotel's own needs. The system will be supplemented by energy storage batteries with a capacity corresponding to the power of the PPP, which will allow the use of the produced energy even during peak consumption hours. The investment includes the supply, installation and commissioning of photovoltaic panels, inverters, structures, control systems, cable routes and battery modules, as well as the necessary construction and installation works. The electricity produced will be used entirely for the needs of the hotel - without being fed into the electricity distribution network. The project will lead to a reduction in electricity consumption from the external network, an increase in energy efficiency and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the company and achieving the goals of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021–2027.
