The project of NIKTEL – KOMERS Ltd. aims to improve the energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of the company’s production facility through the implementation of high-efficiency energy-saving technologies and renewable energy systems. The company is an established family-owned manufacturer specializing in custom-made furniture, operating under NACE code 31.09 – Manufacture of other furniture, classified as a micro enterprise, and based in Glavinitsa village, Pazardzhik municipality. To enhance energy independence and lower electricity costs, the enterprise plans to install a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 100 kW, designed for self-consumption. The use of renewable energy will cover a significant share of the company’s electricity demand, reducing the dependency on the external power grid and contributing to lower greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, the project includes the installation of two high-efficiency air-to-water heat pumps with a heating capacity of 90 kW each, replacing the existing low-efficiency heating equipment. The new system will ensure lower energy consumption, improved indoor climate conditions in the production premises, and reduced operational costs. The implementation of the project will lead to the modernization of the enterprise, optimization of energy processes, and enhancement of its competitiveness. The combination of energy efficiency measures with renewable energy generation will contribute to a sustainable transformation of the production process, fully aligned with the principles of the Green Transition and the priorities of the European Climate Neutrality Policy. The project will have a long-term positive impact by stabilizing energy expenditures, improving resource efficiency, and creating favorable conditions for sustainable growth and technological development of NIKTEL – KOMERS Ltd.
