The project proposal of Heli Ltd. aims to improve energy efficiency and optimize the use of electricity generated by the already installed photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with a nominal capacity of 30 kWp, located on the roof of the building with identifier 63427.8.1165.3 in land plot 63427.8.1165. The PV system is used solely for the company’s own needs – to supply power to the garages, service premises, and charging stations for electric vehicles used for test drives with potential clients prior to sale. Under the project, a local energy storage facility – a battery with a capacity of 160 kWh combined with an inverter (item No. 15 from the List of eligible assets under the procedure) will be delivered and put into operation. The battery will allow storage of the surplus electricity produced by the PV system during daytime hours and its use during periods of higher consumption – mainly for charging electric vehicles and supplying power to the company’s facilities during peak demand. The investment will contribute to reducing dependence on the electricity grid, optimizing the company’s energy balance, and lowering electricity costs, while simultaneously increasing the share of energy from renewable sources. The project fully complies with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy Sources in Enterprises” – achieving higher energy efficiency, promoting the use of renewable energy, and reducing the company’s carbon footprint. Through its implementation, Heli Ltd. will achieve sustainable, technological, and environmental improvement of its operations, combining economic efficiency with environmental responsibility.
