The project proposal envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency and use renewable energy sources in the furniture production base of Fabriano OOD. The implementation of the investment will achieve a significant reduction in energy consumption, optimization of production costs and reduction of the carbon footprint, which will contribute to the sustainable development of the company. The investment envisages: 1. Construction of a photovoltaic system with 50 kW output (nominal) active power of the inverters with a local energy storage facility (battery) with a capacity of 51 kWh, managed by a BMS system. The battery will ensure load balancing, reduction of peak power and the possibility of using stored energy in periods without sunlight or at higher electricity prices. This solution will ensure the company's own production of green electricity and will reduce its dependence on external suppliers. 2. Implementation of a 16 kW air-to-water heat pump system, designed for heating, cooling and domestic hot water production in the production part of the enterprise. The use of the heat pump will reduce the consumption of electricity for air conditioning and increase the comfort of the working environment. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure, as it will contribute to accelerating the enterprise's transition to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewable energy in the company's energy mix through: - Reducing electricity costs through own production and effective consumption management. - Optimizing energy processes by implementing renewable sources and highly efficient solutions. - Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and complying with the objectives of the European Green Deal. - Improving the competitiveness and sustainable development of the furniture enterprise.
