The implementation of the activities addresses COMERG GROUP Ltd.'s need for targeted investments in improving energy efficiency, which are key to the sustainable development of the enterprise. In this way, prerequisites are created for long-term cost reduction and achieving higher competitiveness. The main objective of the current project proposal is to improve competitiveness and increase the energy efficiency of COMERG GROUP Ltd., thereby ensuring the optimization of energy consumption and accelerating the transition towards climate neutrality by reducing the company’s carbon footprint. The project proposal envisages the implementation of the following energy-efficient measures: • Execution of construction and installation works related to the integration of energy-efficient insulation systems. The activities will be implemented through replacement of the building's enclosing structures – windows, which will lead to a lasting reduction of the company’s energy intensity. COMERG GROUP Ltd. belongs to the eligible target group under the procedure. The company is a small enterprise, carrying out its main economic activity under NACE 28.25. Manufacture of industrial cooling and ventilation equipment, which is characterized by high energy intensity and is among the national priority sectors, in line with the National Strategy for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises 2021–2027. The expected results of the investment are directly linked to the improvement of energy efficiency, contributing to higher competitiveness and a lower carbon footprint of COMERG GROUP Ltd.’s operations. The proposal is fully compliant with the “do no significant harm” principle, contributing to the green transition and supporting the achievement of national and European climate and energy goals.
