"Adea Ruse" Ltd is a micro enterprise that owns and operates the "Dunav Cars" auto service in Ruse, specializing in technical maintenance and repair of vehicles of all categories and brands. The main problem faced by the company is the low energy efficiency of the building housing the service center. The poor condition of the building infrastructure leads to high operating costs, including for climate control of the workspaces, discomfort for the mechanics, and delays in the workflow. In conditions of strong competition and continuous improvement of service quality in the sector, the company is losing market positions and long-term customers due to difficulties in meeting deadlines for servicing cars during cold and hot months of the year. To improve the energy efficiency of the facility, the following measures are planned: Thermal Insulation of Building Infrastructure: Installation of mineral wool insulation boards (906 sq.m) on external walls (634 sq.m) and ceiling (272 sq.m) with a thickness of ≥100 mm and thermal conductivity coefficient ≤0.040 W/m.K. Mineral wool provides low thermal conductivity, fire resistance (class A1), sound insulation, moisture resistance, reduces energy losses, and carbon footprint from operations. Replacement of Old Low-Efficiency Windows: It is planned to install 54.3 sq.m of PVC windows with triple glazing and a heat transfer coefficient of 1.1 W/m²K. This will improve thermal and sound insulation and airtightness, reducing heating and cooling costs for the facility. Replacement of 7.6 sq.m of worn-out door with an aluminum door with a thermal break and a heat transfer coefficient of 1.7 W/m²K. Aluminum is a strong material, resistant to corrosion, and recyclable, suitable for facilities with high human traffic. The implemented measures will reduce energy costs, improve working comfort and safety at the facility, and increase the competitiveness of the auto service.
