The project of SAVANA Ltd. aims to improve energy efficiency and optimize the use of renewable energy within the company’s production operations. The enterprise operates under NACE Code 14.13 – Manufacture of outerwear and is a well-established textile manufacturer with a steady presence on both domestic and international markets. The company has already implemented a photovoltaic system of its production facility, providing part of the electricity required for the manufacturing process. However, due to the mismatch between energy production and consumption, a considerable amount of the generated electricity is fed back into the grid during periods of low demand, reducing the overall efficiency of the investment. The current project aims to increase the effectiveness and utilization rate of the renewable energy produced by installing a local energy storage system (battery installation) with a capacity of 200 kW, integrated with an inverter and energy management system. The implementation of the proposed measure will: Enable storage of excess electricity produced by the photovoltaic installation; Allow use of stored energy during peak consumption periods; Reduce dependency on the external grid and optimize electricity usage; Decrease operational energy costs and improve the company’s energy autonomy. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004, promoting energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy sources, and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The investment will contribute to better energy management, lower carbon footprint, and enhanced competitiveness of SAVANA Ltd. as a modern, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible manufacturing enterprise implementing sustainable green technologies.
