Description

The project of “Prometey” Ltd. aims at the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for the company’s own needs, in order to increase energy efficiency, promote the use of renewable energy sources, and install an air-to-air heat pump system.
The main objective is to reduce electricity costs, optimize the company’s energy mix, and lower its carbon footprint.

The project provides for the delivery and installation of a 50 kW photovoltaic system for self-consumption at the enterprise, combined with an integrated local energy storage system of 50 kW.
This configuration will enable optimal management of the generated electricity and minimize dependence on the external power grid.
The system will be equipped with monitoring and control functionalities ensuring efficient utilization of the produced renewable energy.
The PV system capacity is aligned with the current annual electricity consumption so that all produced energy is fully used for the company’s own needs.

In addition, the project will improve the building’s/enterprise’s energy efficiency through the installation of an air-to-air heat pump system, which will replace or complement the existing heating and cooling installation.

The implementation of the project will lead to significant savings in electricity expenses, enhanced business resilience, and compliance with European policies on circular economy and energy efficiency.

The project is in line with the requirements of Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” 2021–2027, procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises.”
